Location: Bangalore Qualification:  BE/ME – Electrical / Electronics/ Mechatronics / E&I / Automobile Experience: 1–3 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Remuneration: As per knowledge/experience and industry practise Role Overview: We are looking for a hands-on HIL Assembly, Wiring & Testing Engineer to support the assembly and integration of Automotive Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) Test Systems. The role involves:
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly
  • Wiring and harness integration
  • Interface panel wiring
  • Continuity and functional testing
  • System-level validation support
Key Responsibilities
  1. HIL Rack Assembly
  • Assemble 19” HIL racks, panels, and sub-systems
  • Mount I/O modules, interface cards, power supplies, and connectors
  • Support mechanical integration activities
  1. Electrical Wiring & Harnessing
  • Perform structured wiring and cable routing
  • Prepare and install harnesses for Power lines, Signal lines, CAN/LIN communication lines
  • Work with multi-pin connectors (ILME, Harting, etc.), Ferrules, lugs, crimp terminals, Shielded cables and industrial connectors
  • Ensure proper cable dressing and labeling & Compliance with wiring drawings
  1. Interface Panel Integration
  • Wire ECU interface panels and breakout boxes
  • Perform pin-to-pin signal mapping
  • Support connector integration and termination
  1. Testing & Validation
  • Conduct Continuity testing, Power-on checks & signal verification
  • Support testing of HIL systems & FAT activities
  1. Customer Interaction & Documentation
  • Co-ordinate with customer and internal team, vendors for smooth project execution
  • Update wiring records and checklists
  • Maintain assembly and testing reports
  • Support preparation of basic technical documentation
Required Skills
  • Knowledge of Electrical wiring, Panel wiring  & Harnessing techniques
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, power distribution concepts
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, Cable schedules, Connector pinouts
  • Knowledge of CAN/LIN communication (preferred), Industrial connectors and terminals
  • Familiarity with Crimping tools, Ferruling tools, multi-meter and continuity tester
  • Experience in Automotive wiring, Control panel assembly, HIL systems is an advantage
  • Hands-on and detail-oriented, good troubleshooting skills
  • Team player with disciplined execution approach
